Carol Sarkissian Honored for Accomplishments in Education
Carol Sarkissian is the recipient of a master's degree in education

ANAHEIM, CA, December 29, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Carol Sarkissian, Resource Specialist Program Teacher and Athletic Director for the Anaheim Union High School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.

A former college athlete, Ms. Sarkissian is an exemplar in sports education. For the past eight years, she has served as the athletic director, as well as the resource specialist program teacher, for the Anaheim Union High School District. She is responsible for overseeing the school athletics and coaching the women's golf team. She is also a teacher and tutor for special education students. In addition, she handles administrative tasks and acts as the student store manager.

With the belief that she can always learn something from her students, Ms. Sarkissian is an accomplished member of her field; she has accumulated a total of 21 years of experience. In 2004, she obtained a master's degree in education from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. A member of the California Interscholastic Federation, she seeks to help special education students obtain high school degrees and achieve success, just as she has.
