LateRooms.com - Alstom Open de France Tees Off in Paris
This summer sees golfers hit the links on one of the oldest European Tour destinations on the continent - the Alstom Open de France in Paris.
PARIS, FRANCE, June 01, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Golf enthusiasts may wish to begin booking their Paris hotels, as the Alstom Open de France is just around the corner and many top pros have been confirmed to attend the European Tour competition.
Running from July 1st to 4th, the sporting event takes place at Le Golf National just outside the French capital.
There is sure to be plenty of added determination from top players in Europe at this tournament, since they will be out to impress Ryder Cup captain Colin Montgomerie ahead of October's prestigious clash with the US.
The competition is one of the oldest on the tour, with current holder of the Open de France title Martin Kaymer producing a timeless performance in 2009 to win.
Promsing youngsters Matteo Manassero and Victor Dubuisson - Italian and French respectively - were recently confirmed to be joining massive names such as Angel Cabrera on the links for the event.
"These two young and hyper talented men are expected to give a lot of fun and spirit to the spectators who no doubt will follow them at the Golf National next to all those top players longing for a spot in the next European Ryder Cup team," remarked the organisers.
Tickets for this competition cost EUR30 (GBP25) on the door from 07:30 (local time) on July 1st and cannot be bought in advance, with under-13s getting free entrance to see the event.
For more information on this event visit the Alstom Open de France website or contact the venue on 01 30 43 36 00.
"LateRooms anticipates heavy demand for hotel Paris due to the Alstom Open de France and recommends that people attending book their accommodation early," says LateRooms head of marketing Jess Reading.
