Chiang Mai's Prem Golf Academy is hosting a series of tutorial sessions that are designed to improve a player's chipping.

CHIANG MAI, THAILAND, June 26, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Keen golfers who are staying in Chiang Mai hotels at the end of July should pack up their clubs and head down to the Prem Golf Academy for the Adult Short Game Clinic.

Master golf instructor Mike 'Spike' Collier, who is one of Thailand's most experienced tutors of the sport, will be on hand between July 26th and 30th 2010 to help participants improve their chips, lofts and flops.

Both half and full-day packages are available, which means that people who are staying in Thailand hotels should be able to fit the lessons in around the rest of their schedule with as little fuss as possible.

Five half-day sessions will cost people 12,000 Thai baht (GBP248) and will get underway at 09:00 local time, before finishing at 12:00.

The longer courses will run all the way through until 15:00 and will set participants back 18,000 Thai baht, although a 20 per cent discount will be given on both prices if the packages are booked before July 1st.

Anyone who signs up for coaching from Mr Collier will be in good hands, as the golf ace has more than 24 years' experience of teaching students.

Once players have mastered their short game, they can choose to play at one of the four championship courses which are located within a 30-minute drive of the academy.
