Anyone who enjoys a round of golf could take part in a charity golf tournament in Bali during their stay.

BALI, INDONESIA, May 27, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- People who like playing a round or two of golf during their holidays may be interested in taking part in an event that also raises money for charity.

The Bali is My Life charity golf tournament is scheduled to take place on the island on June 12th and anyone staying in Bali hotels can participate.

Up to 144 players will be taking part in the event, which is being held at the Bali Golf and Country Club in Nusa Dua.

An entry fee of 1,250,000 Indonesian rupiahs (GBP94.34) is payable for each player, with the money raised being donated to the Rotary Club Bali to be distributed to various local charities.

Everyone who takes part in the tournament will receive a goodie bag, which includes a golf lunchbox and entry to the awards dinner.

Non-golfers are also invited to attend the awards dinner, with individual tickets for the event costing 300,000 Indonesian rupiahs.

The event has been organised by the ministry of culture and tourism in Bali, in conjunction with the Bali Hotels Association, as part of the Bali is My Life campaign to improve tourism on the island.
