Hole in One Highlights Sports Fan Golf Tour's Third Tournament at Royal Lakes
Sports Fan Properties LLC kicked off the third tournament of the 2009 Sports Fan Golf Tour Monday at the beautiful Royal Lakes Golf and Country Club located in Dawsonville, GA.


ROSWELL, GA, June 05, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sports Fan Properties LLC kicked off the third tournament of the 2009 Sports Fan Golf Tour Monday at the beautiful Royal Lakes Golf and Country Club located in Dawsonville, GA. This course features 6,871 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 making this a challenging and competitive course.

Sports Fan Properties LLC Account Executive Matthew Griffith says: "This is truly a beautiful course. My favorite hole is #12 because the island green reminds me of the famous TPC Sawgrass # 17. The incredible scenery, the well maintained and beautiful golf course, and the competitiveness of the players made for an exciting tournament."

Sports Fan Golf Tour, formally Points North Inspired Golf Tour, saw its second hole in one in its six year history on Monday. From Snellville playing out of Summit Chase Country Club, Wes Aikens used a pitching wedge on the downhill par 3 hole #16 to make this incredible shot. "This is my second hole in one and the last one was more than 30 years ago" said Wes. The golfers played 18 holes while enjoying the beautiful lush scenery as well as the historic rolling hills that encompass the Royal Lakes experience.

This tournament was sponsored by Bridgestone Golf making the prize packages very appealing to the participants. Some of the top prizes won include a Bridgestone golf bag, driver and wedge, personalized golf balls, gift certificates to the PGA Superstore, free pizza certificates from Vinnie's Pizza and Braves Tickets for the June 4, 2009 game against the Chicago Cubs.
